Journal Policies & Governance

Establishing the framework for rigorous scholarship and ethical publishing.

About the Journal

The African Journal of Peace and Social Inclusion (AJPSI) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary academic journal committed to advancing rigorous scholarship on peacebuilding, social inclusion, inequality, justice, governance, and sustainable development within African and comparative global contexts.

AJPSI provides an open-access platform that bridges theory, policy, and practice while maintaining high international academic and ethical standards. The journal is published under the auspices of Mulapnen Capacity Building Initiative (MuCaBI) in collaboration with Visionary Writers Publishing.

Aims and Scope

We publish original research that contributes to:

  • Peacebuilding: Conflict transformation and local peace initiatives.
  • Social Inclusion: Equity, justice, and social protection frameworks.
  • Human Security: Community cohesion and marginalization studies.
  • Governance: Public policy and sustainable development.
  • Epistemologies: Indigenous knowledge and African epistemologies.

Open Access Policy

AJPSI is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription fees, ensuring that geographic or institutional barriers do not restrict the dissemination of knowledge.
